Wadmavli Lok Vikas Manch, popularly known as WLVM, was established on 19 June 2000. The organisation works for the development and empowerment of communities in need.
Our work includes education, women empowerment, skill development, livelihoods, sustainable agriculture, water conservation, environmental action and community development.
We believe development becomes stronger when people have knowledge, skills, resources and opportunities to shape their own future.
Our initiatives focus on practical support, skills, livelihoods and stronger communities.
Supporting children's education for children aged 6–13 years in Kalepadal, Hadapsar, Pune.
Driving training and licence support for people aged 18 years and above.
Livelihood-oriented training to strengthen employment and self-employment opportunities.
Supporting women through Self Help Groups, bank linkage, self-employment and livelihoods.
Supporting farmers through organic farming, scheme awareness and manure-making demonstrations.
Working to improve access to clean drinking water for households in villages of Beed district.
Promoting tree plantation and environmental awareness as part of climate action.
Farm ponds, bunding, loose boulders, soil conservation and tree plantation activities.
Undertaken major disaster relief initiatives during the 2015–16 drought and the COVID-19 pandemic (2020–2022).
